Chella Forever: Birthday Weekend Part 1

C's 12th birthday has to be split into 2 posts as we packed so much into one day.

C decided to not have a party this year and was happy to have a family trip to Sydney to see Madame Tussauds (which is somewhere she has wanted to go for some time), have some lunch then check out the Maritime Museum. We usually catch the train to Sydney as it is a lot cheaper than parking but because it was going to be such a long day we decided to take the car, another reason was, because we visited the Maritime Museum we got cheaper parking. Bonus !!

First stop for the day was of course Madame Tussauds which none of us had been to. Please be advised that there are ALOT of pictures to follow !!

See I was there having my own fun

After our brush with the famous we met Uncle Jim and headed to the Hard Rock Cafe, C's choice for her birthday lunch. Good choice C !!

After we sat down a lady approached us asking if the girls would like their faces painted. At first I hesitated as I was worried about the cost but relaxed when she said it was FREE !! Yippee !! So the girls headed to her table, which was behind ours and got started. After a while I wondered what on earth they were doing as it was taking so long, but boy was it worth the wait. As no one else was waiting, the lady, who is an artist was using my kids as a human canvas !! The job she did was AMAZING.
