Cross Country

The kids recently ran in their school cross country and C asked for me to come and watch this year. It was also E's first time so off I went to sweat it out in the heat !! We felt so sorry for the kids. They had to sit in the hot sun on the concrete while they waited for their races. In the end I pulled the kids out of their group to come and stand with me in the shade.

First up was E. She had been looking forward to the race but there was a problem with her not being able to find her drink bottle so she had a little meltdown which didn't help her running. In the end she ran dead last but ended up enjoying herself which was the main thing !!

I was very proud of E. She was able to pull herself together and ran the whole way. Well done xx

Next was C's turn. Last year she came in 4th and made it to the district carnival so all fingers were crossed that she could make it again this year.

Buggered !!

C was completely spent by the end but very happy to run 5th and off to District Cross Country again this year. Well Done xx
