Primary School Ends

WOW, where have the last 7 years gone ??? and where has my baby gone ???

My 'little' girl has finished her first major part of school. Primary school has come to an end :(

The day started with her graduation ceremony and finished with an end of school dance.

It's official she is no longer a primary school student

So after the graduation it was time to head home and get ready for the dance. Some of the girls went all out with expensive dresses and trips to the beautician but my good girl, did her own makeup, I helped her with her hair, she wore her cousins dress, borrowed my hand bag and wore sandals from Payless Shoes !!! Thanks honey for being fashion conscious on a budget !!! And man was she a knockout !!! So grown up and beautiful without looking like she was trying to be an adult.

The yummy cupcakes and cake for the graduation.

The cupcakes and the cake in the middle of the above picture were hand made by one of the teachers. The ones with faces which were dogs all were different, whether they had different expressions, different bows, noses or ears. So much work and love went into these and the blue and white ones were for those like C that have allergies. How cool was that !! Thanks Mrs G, job well done.

So that concludes C's junior schooling years, 5 years at one school and 1 very stressful year at another. You strived to be the best you could be and were well liked by all teachers that had the privilege to teach you. We are so proud of your results through the years and look forward to watching you grow through your next 6 years in high school.
