2013 saw both my Uncles have significant birthdays. Uncle Jim turned 50 and Uncle John turned 60. So to celebrate they hired an area on a cruise boat and treated us all to a fantastic dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour.
To make the celebrations even sweeter we were joined by a group of our relatives from America !! We only wish that more could have come but a massive thanks to those that did.
Before we headed to Sydney I was able to host our American family and spend some time with them showing off the Illawarra Region and all its beauty. First stop was the Kiama Blowhole then a short drive to Minnamurra Rainforest.
Next stop was the boat cruise. It was great to get all dressed up and have a night out on the harbour. The weather was perfect as was the company. Another plus was that we were able to spend the night in the city and only 1 block away from the harbour !!! Check out the next post for those pictures !!

Wow what a night, lots of singing and dancing and a great night had by all. We don't catch up as much as I would like so it was great to see everyone. The next catch up with the Americans will be next year when my little family head to their big family. What an adventure that will be !!! A massive thanks to Uncle Jim and Uncle John for hosting such a great party xxxx
