Mother's Day

I was one lucky mum this year. My Mother's Day lasted two days !!

On Saturday our little family headed to Minnimurra Rainforest to see the waterfalls. The rainforest is pretty special to Sandy and I. This is where we announced to family on Mother's Day that we were expecting our first child so to come back with both our kids for a Mother's Day was really special.

Woop Woop Gangnam Style !!

The walk to the falls is a killer and of course I was the last to get there. But it is so worth the hike. It is so nice and peaceful when you arrive.

Worth it all !!

So after all our hard work and sweat, we ruined it all by having hot chips and coke for lunch !!! Maybe one will cross out the other and we will be back where we started !! or not !!!

Thanks guys for a great day and thanks kids for being so well behaved and not really complaining !!

Our actual Mother's Day was spent with my mum. She loved her new Elvis cushion. Yes another Elvis article to add to her collection !!
