Part 3 - Seaworld

Usually on our holidays we like to have a rest day between theme parks, but this time we did them back to back as bad weather was predicted for the weekend. So off to Seaworld !!

First stop was the Sea Lion show, one of my favourites, it always makes me laugh. The big Sea Lion is a police officer and does a really good job. E was glued to it the whole time. It was great watching her watching the seal do its tricks !!

Next stop was Sesame Street Beach !! All the characters are in this show, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Bert and Ernie, Grover, Bird Bird and Zoe. They are all life size characters and put on a great show.

The whole gang got to come to Sea World !!

Next on the agenda was to let the kids loose on their rides. Sesame Street Beach has some great rides for the kids so first stop was Elmo's Planes. C was the driver in the front and E was the passenger. About half way through E got upset cause C wasn't making the plane go up and down as much as E wanted her to !!

Next stop was Big Birds Bounce ! E was not getting on this one for anybody !!! But C could be on it all day long !! and she was for a while there all by herself !!

The funny thing was that she had to get off and run back around to the start to get straight back on. Next stop the truck convoy !! E was busting a gut to get on this one. We have a large truck convoy here every year to raise money for Camp Quality which is a charity for kids with cancer where up to 750 trucks and 500 motorbikes take part in a charity drive down the mountain. So E thought that she would pretend to be taking part !!

Woo hoo they got to be the lead truck !!

Polar Bear Shores was next and I have to say that this was an all time favourite for everyone. I think we could have stayed and watched all day. I just hope that video I took will run for everyone.

You can view these guys from upstairs or watch them under water.

He did the same move over and over again, but I could watch him all day !!

They also have a beautiful aquarium.

Little Penguins (used to be Fairy Penguins) are always great to watch.

Now off to the Dolphin show !! Anyone who knows me quite well will know that these are my all time favourite animal. I love to watch them and have been lucky enough to swim with them at Sea World !!

Ok that's all I'll torture you with !!

Last but not least is a new exhibit of Emperor Penguins. They are huge but beautiful. They also love the camera and basically went to whoever they thought would take a great picture of them !! and to watch them swim was fascinating. They are so quick and agile in the water and can jump really high.

Very funny creatures again could have watched them all day !!

We had a fantastic time at Sea World and did a lot of shopping as the Sesame Street Beach store was having a huge sale. Everything was really cheap !! Yippee !! We also have a few paid for photos that I will scan in at a later date as I am a bit slack with those. They all should have them on USB's like Dreamworld !!

We defiantely made the right decision to do the parks back to back as the next picture will demonstrate !!
