Picnicing

Sandy wanted to head down the coast to a surf shop to find a rope for his wave ski so we all came for the ride. Unfortunately they didn't have what he was wanting but what a great day out.

First stop was a park across the road from the store

Next stop was the Lady Denman Museum for our packed picnic lunch. We love hanging out here, walking the trails and feeding the fish all for free.

E's face shows the sings of her awesome fall off a skateboard the day before !! She did a fantastic job. She got her forehead, her nose, her chin, her shoulder, her knee and leg !!! Well done E !! When she came off she was screaming so loud I honestly thought I was going to see her nose in a whole new position on her face and teeth missing as she fell face first into the concrete. Luckily only a few (looks bad in the pics) grazes.

Since we were so close and our friends were holidaying at their caravan nearby we made a phone call and ended up hanging out by the water with them for a while.

The kangaroos are always around.

It's always great being able to head to the caravan as they are right next to the water and there are always kangaroos to see and feed. This one especially was cute as the joey kept getting in and out of the mothers pouch which was something that we had not seen before. Thanks honey for letting us tag along on your shopping trip !!
