Good Friday

I love long weekends and spending some time with the kids. Today was all about having a lazy day and not doing much but in the end it turned out to be a great day.

First on the list was some Easter craft !!

After lunch we headed to the near by reserve to go on the Bat Run. Sandy and C have joined a local running group once a week and one day were shown the Bat Run so of course E and I had to go and see it.

Wow the sight, sound and smell of the place has to be seen to be believed !!! The noise is incredible and I would hate to have them in my back yard all day. The sight is a little creepy having all these hanging things peering at you and of course you are constantly worried that you might get pooped on !!! The smell, well I am sure everyone can imagine rotting vegetation mixed in with Bat poo !!

So after our creepy walk it was time to hit the park and then a performance on the stage !!
